Life experiences and stresses often affect our feelings of security and safety, leaving us feeling vulnerable and overwhelmed. When this happens, our lives and relationships can become challenging, dysfunctional or even abusive.
Together we will develop a deep knowing of who you are and what is important to you. Working together, I can help you identify and shift negative patterns. I can help you accept and believe that you deserve happiness in your life and give you the road map to get there. I am committed to helping you take back your power, gain self-confidence and work towards creating the life you want and deserve.
Personal problems can have a way of taking over your life. You might find yourself repeating the same old patterns even though wishing for different results, or you might feel stuck and uncertain whether it will ever be possible for you to change the way you feel and react to situations. Sometimes having a professional therapist to support and guide you can be the first step along the path to making these changes.
The counseling process is basically a collaborative effort between you and your counselor. My goal is to provide an open, supportive, safe and confidential environment for you to address the issues that are concerning you and help you find solutions to whatever problems you are facing.
As a licensed psychotherapist, I am professionally trained to validate your concerns and find solutions. I can help you get to the root of your problem, learn how to overcome emotional challenges, make positive changes in your life and find peace and harmony within.
Remember that growth is difficult and you won’t be a new person overnight. Recognize that small changes lead to success. Don’t minimize the progress. Every little change helps.
A word of caution: There is no smooth, fast road to healing. It is a process that’s full of twists, turns, and the occasional backtrack. Some things that seemed like a straightforward problem can turn into more complicated issues. Be patient and don’t get discouraged over temporary setbacks, breaking old, entrenched patterns take time and patience but the payoff is well worth it.
I just wanted to say thank you for all of your advice and help. I always will refer your name to anybody that needs help, since I found you to be great.
