While individual counseling is very successful in helping to develop self-esteem, assertiveness skills and managing life’s challenges; for others, being in a supportive environment with other like minded individuals can be equally validating and empowering. To acquire tools and learn skills in a small group setting where you feel understood and supported by your peers, can be a very beneficial and powerful experience. It is for this reason, that I have developed workshops as well as support groups on various topics.

As well as a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, I also acquired a diploma from McGill in Family Life Education and Human Relations. This diploma focuses on teaching skills and therapeutic processes necessary to run support groups successfully while addressing self-improvement issues. It has given me the skills, and the expertise to present workshops successfully and professionally.
I have over 25 years of experience in this field. My workshops take place in various organizations, including business, community, and hospital settings, as well as my own office in the West Island. They last from 1-2 hours. The topics are varied. They focus on improving job performance and satisfaction as well as teaching effective working skills such as resolving conflicts, managing stress, and prioritizing tasks. I also offer workshops to enhance personal development goals and raising self-esteem such as those already mentioned and more. There is also a question and answer period following the presentation as well as handouts and resources.
