Does this sound familiar?

You don't need to keep carrying this alone.

Most people I work with want relief, clarity, and a few practical tools that actually work, for one or more of these three things:

Anxiety

  • Racing thoughts you can't switch off
  • Worrying about things before they happen
  • Feeling tense, on edge, or stuck in your head
  • Trouble sleeping or concentrating

Relationships

  • Repeating the same fights with a partner
  • Feeling unheard, alone, or disconnected
  • Struggling to communicate needs without conflict
  • Patterns from family or past relationships repeating

Work-Related Stress

  • Burnout, overwhelm, or constant pressure
  • Trouble balancing work and home life
  • Difficulty setting boundaries at work
  • Dreading Mondays, or every day

Whether it's a partner, family member, or yourself, I'll help you communicate more clearly, set healthy boundaries, and break patterns that keep showing up.

Work-Related Stress

Together we'll find practical ways to manage pressure, protect your time, and stop work from taking over the rest of your life.

For Parents Facing Estrangement

If your adult child has cut off contact, there is support and a path forward.

Estrangement from an adult child is one of the most isolating and misunderstood losses a parent can face. Healing is possible on your own terms, whether or not contact is ever restored.

My Approach

Therapy that's practical, structured, and goal-directed

My approach is different from traditional talk therapy. I focus on getting you to where you want to be, with a clear plan and tools you can use between sessions.

1

We set a clear goal

Every plan starts with what you actually want to change, giving us a clear direction instead of an open-ended process.

2

You get practical tools

Real strategies and techniques for handling stressful situations as they come up.

3

Homework that builds momentum

Small, simple exercises between sessions so progress continues outside the room.

4

A warm, judgment-free space

You're heard and supported first. Change happens faster in a space that feels safe.

Common Questions

What to expect

What does a session cost?

A regular 50-minute session is $199.95. You'll receive a receipt after each session, which you can submit to your insurance provider (it's best to confirm your specific coverage with them directly) or use as an income tax deduction.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. I see clients in person at my office in Pointe Claire, and online by phone or Zoom for anyone across Quebec who prefers virtual sessions.

How do I get started?

Start with a free 15-minute consultation. We'll talk briefly about what's going on and whether we're a good fit to work together.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything you share is kept strictly confidential, with the limited legal exceptions that apply to all licensed therapists (such as imminent risk to safety or a court order).

How long does therapy take?

My approach is solution-focused and goal-directed, so we work toward concrete progress rather than indefinite, open-ended sessions. Many clients see meaningful change within a number of weeks, depending on their goals.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session; sessions cancelled with less notice are charged in full.
