For 35+ years, I've helped people across Quebec raise their self-esteem so they can manage anxiety, strengthen relationships, and handle work-related stress, with real, practical tools and no judgment, ever.
Most people I work with want relief, clarity, and a few practical tools that actually work, for one or more of these three things:
We'll work on calming the constant worry and tension so you can think clearly, sleep better, and feel in control again, using real tools you can use the same day.
Whether it's a partner, family member, or yourself, I'll help you communicate more clearly, set healthy boundaries, and break patterns that keep showing up.
Together we'll find practical ways to manage pressure, protect your time, and stop work from taking over the rest of your life.
My approach is different from traditional talk therapy. I focus on getting you to where you want to be, with a clear plan and tools you can use between sessions.
Every plan starts with what you actually want to change, giving us a clear direction instead of an open-ended process.
Real strategies and techniques for handling stressful situations as they come up.
Small, simple exercises between sessions so progress continues outside the room.
You're heard and supported first. Change happens faster in a space that feels safe.
I'm Rhonda Rabow, M.A., a licensed psychotherapist in Counselling Psychology. For 35+ years, I've worked with individuals, couples, and families across Quebec, helping them manage anxiety, repair relationships, and handle the stress that comes with everyday life and work.
My style is warm and direct. I offer a solution-focused, client-centered approach: practical tools and honest feedback, delivered in a space where you feel genuinely heard. Sessions are available in person at my Pointe Claire office, or online by phone or Zoom, whichever works best for your life.
"Hi Rhonda, you are truly gifted… your insight and advice are priceless! Thank you from the bottom of my heart."S.M., Client
A regular 50-minute session is $199.95. You'll receive a receipt after each session, which you can submit to your insurance provider (it's best to confirm your specific coverage with them directly) or use as an income tax deduction.
Yes. I see clients in person at my office in Pointe Claire, and online by phone or Zoom for anyone across Quebec who prefers virtual sessions.
Start with a free 15-minute consultation. We'll talk briefly about what's going on and whether we're a good fit to work together.
Yes. Everything you share is kept strictly confidential, with the limited legal exceptions that apply to all licensed therapists (such as imminent risk to safety or a court order).
My approach is solution-focused and goal-directed, so we work toward concrete progress rather than indefinite, open-ended sessions. Many clients see meaningful change within a number of weeks, depending on their goals.
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session; sessions cancelled with less notice are charged in full.
Reach out by phone, email, or the form below. Just a brief conversation to talk about what you are carrying and how I can help.
